The castle was built in phases at the end of 18th and the beginning of 19th
century. On above the entrance there is a plate with text in Hungarian languageabout the
owners of the estate, the aristocratic family Marcibanji de Puho. The spanish king Filip
stayed in this castle. In 19th and at the beginning of 20th century,
till 1918, it was the property of the aristocratic family Karaconji. The building, acultural
monument of great importance, is the property of the state faculty for Europian law and politic
studies.
